Welcome to the ARK Appreciation Pages.
A site dedicated to the memory of one the Black Country's greatest
exports. ARK came into existence in 1986 continuing

*** SITE OVERHAUL ***
I've been promising to do this for several years, but have never quite had the time. However, lots has changed behind the scenes. The site is hosted on a new server with lots of disk space, I uncovered some mp3 gems on my son's computer (I gave him the PC that I originally designed the site with nearly 10 years ago), and best of all I have a new website management tool, Labyrinth, that will make administering this site a lot easier.
It will be a while before I convert the site to Labyrinth, but I do have a few plans to update the site a little. Nothing too drastic, but hopefully some nice surprises.
First up, the News page, which should really be the Band Members page, has been updated with some of the changes I've heard of over the last few years. I've also added Hugh Edwards to the roster, who was the band's final drummer. Hugh contacted me recently and was a little disappointed I'd missed him off the site. Sorry for that Hugh, it wasn't intentional.
If anybody has memorabillia they are happy for me to feature on the site, send photos or scans to barbie@missbarbell.co.uk. You'll get full credit, and link back your own site if you provide it.
If any ex-band members are reading this, please get in touch and let me know what you're up to. Aside from being good to hear from you, it would also be nice to keep Alan happy and stop nagging me to update the site every time he sees me ;^)

In case you were wondering, the photo above was taken in Silkeborg, Denmark,
24th April 1993. We were on a short tour of Denmark and had a day off
to wander around the town.
Thanks for passing by and check back soon.
